Samsung launches Galaxy Tab A (2017) with 5,000 mAh battery and quad-core CPU in Vietnam

Samsung has launched its latest tablet, Samsung Galaxy Tab A (2017) in the Vietnamese market. According to a report by GSMArena, the company has packed a quad-core processor clocked at 1.4 GHz along with 5,000 mAh battery. Samsung Vietnam has priced the Tab A (2017) for VND 6,490,000 which would translate to about $ 285 at the time of writing.
Galaxy Tab A (2017) sports an 8-inch TFT display panel with an effective resolution of 1280x800. One interesting thing to note about this display and tablet is that it does not support S Pen. Something that the company has been trying to push on its tablet and Galaxy Note line-up. The tablet packs 2 GB RAM along with 16 GB internal storage along with support for expandable storage to expand the storage up to 256 GB. Tab A is running Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box on the software side.
The company has also added an 8 MP camera mobile on the back of the device along with an LED Flash in addition to the 5 MP camera module on the front of the device. The camera module is only capable of shooting Full-HD videos at 30 fps instead of anything more fancy like 4K at 30 FPS. The tablet packs 3.5mm headphone jack, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n along with a 4G-enabled single nano-SIM slot for connectivity options.
Samsung has not provided any details about the availability of the tablet in other markets but we can expect the device to make its way to other markets in coming months. Considering the price of the tablet, Tab A is aimed at potential buyers who want to buy an Android tablet but at a budget instead of almost breaking you bank account in an attempt to buy a tablet.
